The thesis will describe a business model of a small research and development pharmaceutical company, Tice Pharmaceuticals, that was founded in San Jose, California USA in 1995 and moved to the Central Valley of Northern California in 2004. Examining the types of research and development conducted at the firm in the areas of medical information, biotechnology, non-tradiational medicine, and theoretical genetics. A business model of the how, what and whys of running a small pharamceutical company for ten years is examined with important lessions for all start up medical and research related companies.
